Fluorescein: a harmless yellow colored dye used to outline the vessels of the eye
Food Pyramid: a graphic aid to a healthy diet. Foodstuffs at the bottom of the pyramid are of low calorie while food at the top are of high calorie and should not be consumed often
Fortified Foods: those that have had extra vitamins and minerals added to them
Free weights: weights not attached to a machine nor driven by cables or chains
Fructosamine: a glycated protein that measures glucose control over the preceding 2-3 weeks
Fructose: a sugar found in fruits. |
